2023 Ice & Lights: The Winter Village at Cameron Run

Ice & Lights, Cameron Run’s Winter Village, is thrilled you’ve decided to visit. In this article, you’ll find suggestions, advice, and practical information to help you make the most of your stay.

Starting on November 18 and running through January 1, the Winter Village is available nightly from 5-10pm.

Nightly ice skating sessions run from 5-10pm from November 18th – January 1st.

Tickets for ice skating (which grants access to the Village) must be ordered online in advance owing to limited availability.

Access to the village is permitted between the hours of 5 and 10 p.m. The town usually reaches its peak activity between the hours of 6:30 and 8 in the evening. The busiest times tend to fall on weekends and holidays. Travel at the beginning of the season to beat the throngs.

Your ON THE ICE TIMES are reflected in your skate times. Prior to your skate time, please enter the Village and prepare your skates so that you can enter the ice at your ticket time. Village entry is included in ice skating tickets. In the evening, between the hours of 5 and 10 PM, you may access the Village.

Tickets for ice skating can only be bought in advance online.

While tickets are non-refundable, you may exchange them for a different date and time within the same event, provided there are still tickets available for the event in question. For in-depth guidance, please view the video embedded below. You will need to do this on a desktop computer before 2 p.m. on the day of your tickets, as a mobile device will not function.

WONDERINGS?

– For inquiries, please contact iceandlights@nvrpa.org at least 24 hours before your ticket time. In need of a ticket exchange or have the wrong ones in hand? Get in touch with the host via Eventbrite’s built-in messaging system.

Discount codes must be entered at the time of purchase of tickets. Once your tickets have been purchased, you will not be able to use a discount code. Further, discount codes have expiration periods. A discount coupon link won’t be displayed if there aren’t any valid ones valid on the day of your transaction. The instructional video is provided down below.

NOTE: This event will take place regardless of the weather. All ticket sales are final. The only time you may change the date of your ticket is before the event starts. When the weather or ice conditions become too dangerous, the rink will close. A rain check for another time may be offered if this happens.

After purchasing a ticket, you will have one hour to skate. In order to keep track of who has skated for how long, we’ll give everyone a different coloured sticker. The ice will be removed at the end of the hour, and skate rentals will be due back before resurfacing can begin.

Have your tickets ready and your screen brightened to the maximum to speed entry. If your tickets are paper, please make sure the scanner can access all of the barcodes.

For a hands-free entry experience, buy your tickets in advance online. Roller skating tickets can only be purchased online.

Free parking is available. Make sure to keep an eye out for any visitors, especially those with young children, who may be strolling around the parking lots. Do not form a queue in the parking lot entrance. Please wait in your car until it is secure to wait in line on the sidewalks if there are long wait times.

While admission to Ice & Lights is included with your Winter Village ticket, ice skating and skate rentals are not. Comfortable shoes and weather appropriate attire are recommended for all guests. The Village is open no matter the weather and is only closed during extremely dangerous conditions. Wheelchairs and strollers can come in.

For your own safety, please do not stray from the designated paths at any time. Keep your distance from light displays, since many of them will have cords and wires running to and from them. Take pictures all you like, but don’t mess with the screens or climb up the cords. Don’t hesitate to alert the staff to any potential dangers you may have noticed.

In addition to our “skating” photo op and many new displays, Ice & Lights also features numerous other wonderful photo ops, including as a walk-through tree, a big wreath, and exquisite design stars. Bring a camera and record the occasion. Don’t forget to include us in your social media posts by tagging us. Tag your Cameron ice and light photos with @IceAndLights and #iceandlightscameron.
