On Sunday, March 5, 2023, the West Ashley Area Chamber of Commerce will present the 4th Annual West Ashley Restaurant Festival, an occasion with a Food & Beverage theme.
While the Tri-County region’s many restaurants and guests are welcomed, the West Ashley imprint is highlighted.
From 3 to 7 p.m., the West Ashley Restaurant Festival will be held in the stunning Founders Hall at the Charlestown Landing State Historic Park (1500 Old Towne Rd Charleston, SC). Early bird special price is $25, and standard admission is $35. Both the general public and kids are welcome to the event.
A number of West Ashley restaurants will provide samples of their distinctive menu items, and other eateries from neighboring areas will also be present.
Each year, the Chamber and its planning committee organize the event. West Ashley Educators will gain in part from the sales. The remaining funds will go towards event costs, future marketing and advertising aimed at raising the festival’s profile and that of its supporters and local businesses in West Ashley.
During the first 45 minutes, known as the Sample Segment, restaurants will provide free two to three-ounce samples of their distinctive menu items. Throughout the remaining hours, customers will have the chance to make purchases and show their support for neighborhood businesses before casting their votes for the restaurants offering the finest appetizers, drinks, and desserts.
A VIP & Sponsors Food Sample Hour will be part of the celebrations in addition to food, music, and entertainment.
On the day of the event, you may anticipate some family-friendly activities, a Vendor Alley with exhibitors from local for-profit and nonprofit organizations, as well as networking opportunities.
There is free parking available. Spectators are urged to use Uber, drive safely, and cross the street at all crosswalks carefully.
