Join us Friday nights June 23 – August 25 from 5-8PM for Friday Night Fishing! All attendees need to fill out waiver linked in description.

THIS WAIVER MUST BE COMPLETED BY EVERY PARTICIPANT. Adults need their own waivers, and each adult is allowed a maximum of 4 kids on their waiver.
Friday Night Fishing is held at Diamond Teague Park (1520 First St. SE), across from Nationals Stadium, on Fridays from June 23 through August 25 from 5-8 PM.

First come, first served at the event on the pier. If the dock is full when you arrive, there’s a possibility you’ll be put on the waiting. If there is a queue, we will have a fishing restriction of one hour.

The Friday Night Fishing event is free. There will be personnel on hand to assist in teaching you how to fish, as well as given bait, equipment, and rods.

Colonial Pipeline is a business sponsor. Capitol Hill Community Foundation is the local sponsor.

RELATED TO RAIN:

Bring your rain gear since Friday Night Fishing will go on as planned even if it is softly raining.

Unfortunately, we will have to cancel if there is lightning, thunder, or significant rain. However, as you are aware, summer thunderstorms in DC often happen at the last minute and have erratic durations. On Friday afternoon, we will notify you via email if thunderstorms are anticipated. Please wait until then to write us if you have any queries regarding the rain.

If a cancellation does happen, don’t worry—we still have plenty of fishing options this summer!
