Vermont’s own biking culture film festival and variety show: the Green Mountain Showdown

The 10th annual Green Mountain Showdown, hosted by Mountain Bike Vermont (MTBVT.com), will take place on November 4, 2022, at Hula in Burlington, Vermont.

The Green Mountain Showdown is a charity event hosted by Julbo and Zero Gravity that will feature mountain biking-themed short films, slideshows, and spoken word pieces created by local artists.

All revenues will go toward a naming grant for the Vermont Mountain Bike Association. According to MTBVT’s founder, Ryan Thibault, “our goal is to boost Vermont’s standing as the heart of mountain biking in the Eastern US.” “The Showdown is an opportunity to recognise the media creators, filmmakers, and riding talent in our State who share a passion for cycling.

Imagine a meal made with ingredients from from a Vermont farm. no human eyes, just cameras! ”

A full list of our media creators for this year will be released soon, but in the meantime, here’s a taste.

All of our favourite people—Henry Miles, Dave Trumpore, Evan Kay, Brice Shirbach, Ashley Rosemeyer, Ansel Dickey, Skye Schillhammer, Peter Jamison, Marius Becker—are on the big screen, and they’re doing amazing things.

MTBVT’s founder, Ryan Thibault, says, “We want to boost Vermont’s standing as the hub of mountain biking in the Eastern US. The Showdown is a chance to highlight our State’s passion of cycling through the media producers, filmers, and riding talent. Think VT farm to table… only camera to eyeballs!”

Is it necessary in  Bonfire and Chill.

to be over the age of 21 to attend?

Yes, all IDs will be examined at the gate, no exceptions. If you are under the age of 21, please do not purchase a ticket.

Are children permitted to attend the event?

There are no children. Call the babysitter ahead of time!

Are pets permitted at the event?

Please leave our dogs, cats, horses, and fish at home, as much as we adore them.
