a native Californian who was raised in Salinas and whose ancestors arrived in this state in 1852. She had a successful career as a professional vocalist until recently retiring.

Since 1997, Gail has led several tours for San Francisco City Guides, including ones through Land’s End and Golden Gate Park West. (She even served as City Guides’ Board Chair!) Gail happily explored other parts of the city during the lengthy COVID lockdown, including SOMA, Candlestick Point, Lake Merced, and Lands End.
