About National Saturday Club

City & Guilds of London Art School, Teens between the ages of 13 and 16 are welcome to join the Art School’s National Saturday Club at no cost to themselves. From October 2022 through June 2023, you may participate in this exclusive Club and learn how to apply time-honored techniques to create a collection of modern works of art.

The application period has begun.

EXPERIENCES TO EXPECT AT THE Saturday Club.

You will create a personal coat of arms that includes symbols and items that are significant to you, such as your dog, favorite workout gear, and/or mobile device.

Throughout your time in the Club, you will be exposed to a wide variety of creative methods, including as etching, casting in plaster, gilding with gold leaf onto glass, and carving in wood, and you will also have the opportunity to attend a Masterclass taught by a renowned expert in the field.

The completed product will be shown at Somerset House in the Club’s annual Summer Show. During the first semester, there will be one field trip to a museum or gallery in London.
