Halloween is just a few months away, so it’s time to start making preparations for the annual street party. Oaklawn Street Party, now a prominent Dallas event, will be held again on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on the 3900 block of Cedar Springs.

The event’s Costume Promenade has included live commentary, music, food, beer, and other beverages at seven service stations. There will be a live DJ and special performances in the Rose Room out back.

Everyone is welcome to attend the street celebration, and there is no cover charge. The whole bar of the Roundup Saloon has been decorated for Halloween, so you definitely shouldn’t miss it.

The street celebration is open to people of all ages, however those under 21 will not be able to purchase alcohol. There will be fences around the venue. The use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited inside the designated area by state legislation. Bags may be inspected and coolers are not allowed. Consider our neighbours and treat them with respect. Because of this, we had to put a hold on Cruisin’ the Crossroads.

Because to requests from Dallas municipal authorities, the annual Halloween Block Party hosted by The Block Party will now take place on Saturday, October 29 instead of the previously announced date of October 22.

A spokesperson said the city requested the modification because the original date of October 22 would have interfered with the Texas State Fair.
