About This Event Open Gate Day- LULA LAKE

The Core Preserve at Lula Lake is accessible to the public for hiking on Open Gate Days. To preserve the peace of nature, reservations are essential and there are a limited number of available spots.
Arrival times are divided up into reservations. These indicate the hours during which you can check in at our Core Preserve, which is situated at 5000 Lula Lake Road. At 5:00 PM ET, the Core Preserve will end immediately. All visitors arriving in the vehicle of the person making the reservation sign our Release of Liability on their behalf.

Reservations are accepted year-round. Refunds and cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours in advance. Each reservation is subject to a $16.00 conservation use fee. All earnings are reinvested in preserving Lula Lake in full. Buses, passenger vans, and extra-large cars are not permitted; one reservation equals one parking place. If there are cancellations, there will be a wait list created. Non-profit organisations can contact our office at 706-820-0520 to schedule a visit. It is required to cancel reservations at least 48 hours in advance.
