In Regards to Musical Education
There are musical ensembles for people of all ages and skill levels at the Waltham Forest Music School.1
Young individuals may build on the knowledge gained in private sessions and gain self-assurance and performing abilities in a group, ensemble, or symphony setting.
The Waltham Forest Satellite Music School’s Pathfinders Ensemble will meet every Thursday from 4:15 to 5:15 pm at the Chingford C of E Infant location.
For kids between the ages of 8 and 12 who take voice or instrument classes, there’s a brand-new ensemble that’s engaging, creative, and exploratory. The only requirement is that performers bring their own instruments.

Funds for Music Lessons
As of the 2022-23 school year, the Music School membership price is £34 each semester or £17 for low-income families.
At our main Music School, held at Walthamstow School for Girls, we charge this fee for each student who wishes to participate in one or more of our ensembles.
Joining a Band at Music Conservatory:
- Participate in this Britten survey to let us know which group(s) you’d like to join.
- Next scheduled rehearsals for these ensembles will be confirmed via email.
- Get your rehearsal fee paid online first.
- Regulations for Conduct in the Music Classroom
Students participating in Music School classes and ensembles are required to behave in accordance with the code of conduct.

Is it necessary .
to be over the age of 21 to attend?
Yes, all IDs will be examined at the gate, no exceptions. If you are under the age of 21, please do not purchase a ticket.
Are children permitted to attend the event?
There are no children. Call the babysitter ahead of time!
Are pets permitted at the event?
Please leave our dogs, cats, horses, and fish at home, as much as we adore them.
