About this Event 24th Annual Strong Ale Festival 2022
Join us for the 24th Annual Strong Ale Festival at Pizza Port Carlsbad, where you may sample a number of strong beers. More than 60 high-octane beers will be offered on tap, plus VIP access to rare bottles.
On December 2nd and 3rd, Strong Ale will take place on the Pizza Port’s Port Side. Each day will begin with a VIP session and end with a general admission session.
The following are the available tickets:
$100 for VIP One Day
Friday, December 2, from 3 to 5 p.m. (with access to Friday GA session, 5pm-10pm)
This ticket is only valid for entry on Friday and comes with a festival glass, ten sample pours, and free food during the VIP session.
or
December 3, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (with access to Saturday GA session, 3pm-8pm)
This ticket only allows entry on Saturday and comes with a festival glass, ten samples, and free food during the VIP session.
$150 for VIP 2 Days
Saturday, December 3rd, 12–3pm, and Friday, December 2nd, 3–5pm (with entrance to the Friday GA session, 5–10pm) (with access to Saturday GA session, 3pm-8pm)
includes one festival glass, ten samples, and free meals during each festival day’s VIP session.
One-Day General Admission: $75
5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on December 2nd, 2022
This ticket includes one festival glass and eight samples and is only valid for entry on Friday.

3pm–9pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022
This ticket only allows entry on Saturday and comes with 8 samplers and a festival glass.
***An additional $2 will be required to buy each additional taster at the event.
The cost of a replacement festival glass is $5.

Is there a minimum age or ID requirement to attend the event?
To attend, you must be at least 21 years old.
Is my printed ticket required to be brought to the event?
It’s not necessary to use printed tickets. For entry, your ID and ticket must match.
Tickets for D.D. or non-drinkers are they available?
No, we are unable to provide cheaper or non-drinking tickets due to prior issues. I’m sorry for the trouble. During your visit to the festival, your D.D. or non-drinking companion is more than welcome to enjoy the nearby Pizza Port Carlsbad bar.
