FAQs

What are the return guidelines? Please don’t ask for swaps or refunds within 30 days of the event.

What rules apply to re-entry? Ticket holders who have the proper stamp may return to the event. Re-entry is only permitted on the day specified on the entrance ticket (i.e., Saturday ticket holders cannot re-enter on Sunday).

Does the event include food? A few vendors will be selling munchies. We urge you to check out the fantastic cuisine below and outdoors at the farmer’s market as there are many delectable dining alternatives at the Ferry Building (on Saturdays only).

Will there be tickets on hand at the door? We cannot promise there will be any available at the door since the SFITF often sells out. Please get tickets in advance to guarantee entrance.

What safety procedures apply to COVID-19? We’ll adhere by any municipal and/or federal limitations in effect at the time of the event since safety regulations are always changing.

Does the event have an age restriction? A parent or legal guardian must be present with any children under the age of 18. With a ticketed parent or guardian, children under the age of five are admitted free of charge. Everyone who will be there must have a ticket. Only visitors with the appropriate tickets will be given a complimentary gift bag and/or sampling cup.

What can I bring to the event and what can’t I? There are no animals permitted save registered service animals. There will be portions of the event that are crowded. If you can, please try to stay away from bringing strollers and big baggage. We thank you on behalf of the other drinkers.

Exist any places where my goods may be stored while I shop? There are no storage facilities or lockers on-site.

At the Ferry Building, are there bike racks? At the building’s north and south ends, outdoors on the rear plaza, there are three sets of bike racks. Bicycles left at any of the bike racks are not the responsibility of the Ferry Building or the SF International Tea Festival.

Is my printed ticket required to be brought to the event? The door will take printed or mobile tickets. Please make sure that your barcode can be scanned and is printed clearly.

Can I transfer my registration or ticket? The ticket may be used by someone other than the person who purchased it, but only for one person on the day of the event for which it was provided. Tickets purchased on Saturday cannot be used on Sunday, and vice versa. Each participant needs their own ticket.
