You may try fried chicken meals from different restaurants, chefs, and food trucks at this event while also taking in live entertainment, local artists’ artwork, and DJs from Houston’s creative community.

Cocktails are included with the purchase of both a “Judge Pass” ticket and a “Early Bird Judge Pass ticket,” it must be noted.
*Adults-only event: No minors or anybody under the age of 21 will be permitted entry unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and the child must obtain a “Judge Pass” ticket. This event is intended for an adult audience.
Eat-off of Fried Chicken Wings: If you believe you have what it takes to be Houston’s quickest chicken wing eater, register on our website. The competition will only accept 24 competitors. To participate, you need a Judges pass ticket. Sign-up forms and waivers are available at Fried Chicken Festival Houston.

Judge Pass Tickets:
Access to the event
10 coupons for food samples (you will exchange these vouchers for samples of the contestants food to taste and vote). You may buy meals from food sellers and competitors who are competing in fried chicken.
-This ticket’s food sample period is from 2pm to 6pm (1pm-6pm for the Early Bird Judge Pass). If food sellers run out of samples after 6 o’clock, they may begin selling food. So arrive early so you may sample as much of the cuisine from the vendors as you can! Please remember this.
Access to open bars in the main festival lane (Must be 21 and up)
Seating at the whole festival (first come first serve)
Take in live music performances, cuisine demos, and the fried chicken wing eating competition on the main stage.
Access to sponsored non-alcoholic beverages such as bottled water.
Parking – On Portwest Dr., street parking is free, easy to find, and permitted.
While supplies last, a small number of parking spaces in the event parking lot will be made available by Fried Chicken Fest for $20 each. There will be parking attendants and first-come, first-served parking in this lot. Fried Chicken Fest Houston disclaims all liability for any car theft or damage that may take place while you are attending the festival.
Uber and Lyft pick-up and drop-off are highly recommended. Please don’t drive after drinking!

Is it necessary .
to be over the age of 21 to attend?
Yes, all IDs will be examined at the gate, no exceptions. If you are under the age of 21, please do not purchase a ticket.
Are children permitted to attend the event?
There are no children. Call the babysitter ahead of time!
Are pets permitted at the event?
Please leave our dogs, cats, horses, and fish at home, as much as we adore them.
